I think that the reason I like it (other than that Jesus embodied perfect kindness for us to model)
is that it communicates an "others" emphasis - not just awareness - and certainly not an egocentric one...

This has certainly been true in my experience with the people I've met with this week...
I like the quote as well - it reminds me that we all have struggles and can't compare them against each others'.
