Another fun musical find...

So some of you probably already know this (as did Matt Bayley who told me about it today), but what a cool idea!

Like The Human Genome Project has set out to discover/label all genes found in our DNA, so Pandora has set out to analyze a LOT of the world's music, link it to many other types of music of its "kind" and group it. So type in a kind of music or artist you like and it searches its databases of all other kinds of music with similarities - some you may know, many you may not.

Are you in a "Cold Play" kind of mood? A "Watermark" kind of mood? A "Journey" kind of mood? Type them in and you get variety within a genre of a play list/jukebox around 40ish songs... PLUS if you like a song, there's an immediate way to buy it for all you MP3ers out there (no, I'm still not one of you since I can't think of a time when I would be exercising and not wanting to hear what Sarah says...). I'm going to try it out for a while (it's free) as background music... Let me know what you think if you try it.

This sounds cool. Chris and I will have to check it out. And FYI, I use my iPod as a radio at home and in the car without headphones... then I never have to hunt for a cd or get too frustrated with radio commercials.
