Note that I said "our next project" because thankfully Todd has said that making beds around the fence will be great for him too (won't have to mow or edge around/eat up the fence anymore) and so will share in the removal of the sod... (We revamped the outline a bit since the picture and it now includes curves so as not to be so plain - Updates will follow I'm sure...) More beds to plant/play in! If you happen to have anything you need to divide and don't have another place to put it, I'll gladly take donations!...
...such as these little raspberry bushes from Amy B... Can't wait until next season when they produce yummy berries! Thanks Amy! The rocks lining the bed against the house I've come to name my "trophy case." Since we live on the till left by the glaciers (Hey! 8th grade Earth Science does come in handy after all...) the lovely softball-sized rocks that I've unearthed while blending in compost needed a place recognizing historical honor and the effort it took to get them out of the dirt/clay!
(Plus it's more interesting to look at than the foundation.)
