A Lesson in Surfing

Ahhh technology. Just when I find a reason to start thinking I hate it, that it can suck too much time (when I let it), and that I want to give our computer the ol' heave ho, then something like this makes me think, "It's not SO bad, is it?" Now I've finally discovered Google's reader application, I will have guilt free blog surfing because I won't spend time ping ponging between my and your blogs to see if there are updates... Check out my friend Emily's snazzy post from March 30th- if I had a glass of champagne in my hand right now, I'd offer a toast. Good show my dear girl, good show! And thank you!

I just added the google reader feature and a google home page and I'm so happy I did. Now it tells me when someone has a new post and I can click there straight away. Lovely for sure...That's how I knew you had a new post :)
I'd join you with that champagne but it's not even 7am yet!!

howdy! I wish I could share in your excitement for this but it's not working for me!! I tried to add subscriptions and I could only add 3 blogs and the others said "no feed found"...maybe I'm not doing it right, which wouldn't surprise me! Help!! : )

Heather, not everyone publishes the feed on their blog. Sometimes people just don't know to do it. usually if you send them an email and ask nicely they will turn on the feed publication. Depending on which blog service they use they just need to check a bog that says something like "publish this blog's feed" it is usually under options. Once they do that you should be able to see the blog in your feed reader.
