I just became a follower of a new blog named: Room Remix and have really enjoyed it! If you're kind of a decorating (ahem, H.C.)/DIY junkie like I am (that is when we have the budget for it) you might like it too... thanks for the shout out but is it because you know i'm not crafty and I need the help or I need to stay within budget?! haha just kidding...
i am so intimidated by DIY projects because I KNOW that I can't even cut straight so I don't even try them! : )
Hopefully this new blog will give me some ideas (and confidence) to do something fun with a great end result!
oh speaking of projects, we're doing hannah's room and since we're having a really hard time finding a tulip stencil, paul is convinced we can do it ourselves.
Sometimes I think he forgets he's married to someone who almost failed Home Ec! : )
H - Um, oops, when I was editing I apparently pasted this in the wrong place! Your "ahem Heather" was *supposed* to go after the word "decorating"(not next to the DIY or budget part)...I know you're not into crafts, but you enjoy choosing things that make a room look "put together" and enjoyable to be in whether paint color or accessories... (It was in no way supposed to be in the "budget" realm of things... You've WAY proved your desire to be budget conscious by waiting to do different projects until it was financially a "go" - case in point - your backyard (even though that isn't an "indoor" project...)=)
