Our Princess is now 3! CRAZY...

Planning/making the requested "snake cake" (What a kid! I love it!) for her zoo themed birthday party.
Pin the tail on the giraffee.
My mom came over (Dad was nursing their ailing cat) to celebrate with us... She's so great at creatively connecting/involving Sarah in fun projects - this one is making pudding with an old fashioned egg beater.
This is another time when they made chocolate pudding cookies (consistency of dough is like Play Doh) - Perfect for kids and yummy little cookies. Todd is thrilled that Sarah loves chocolate and cookies/cake as much as he does AND grateful that "Nana" supports this habit!
All in all a fabulous, if jam packed, last week or so... Still a list of things to do, but none with a definite deadline other than April 20th... Smile...

Oh how very sweet. I love that snake cake!!
The party was so precious - you did a great job Abbey, you little homemaker, you! Sam has been asking to talk about the party since we left - he wants to talk about the food we ate, the people that were there, and all the stuff they played. He says, "Abbey's house again!" So it was a hit with the young'uns as well.
Ah... We love you too Sam and Sam's Mommy! Sarah made the observation yesterday that our looks similar... =)
So sweet. What a fun week!
Abbey, Sarah looks so grown up in her birthday princess hat.
