A Lesson in Surfing

Ahhh technology. Just when I find a reason to start thinking I hate it, that it can suck too much time (when I let it), and that I want to give our computer the ol' heave ho, then something like this makes me think, "It's not SO bad, is it?" Now I've finally discovered Google's reader application, I will have guilt free blog surfing because I won't spend time ping ponging between my and your blogs to see if there are updates... Check out my friend Emily's snazzy post from March 30th- if I had a glass of champagne in my hand right now, I'd offer a toast. Good show my dear girl, good show! And thank you!

Belated Works For Me Wednesday...

Because we've accumulated a number of indoor paint colors since we've moved in, I decided to follow the example of a friend, Lisa Lindgren (real estate agent extraodinaire), who keeps a bit of each room's paint color in a labeled baby food jar with a small paint brush INSIDE the house so that when a chip, smudge, etc. is noticed, it can be taken care of immediately with minimal mess. No more hauling out of crusty old paint cans that need to be mixed just for a minor ding. I've already put it to use and it has really saved time and effort. I'm much more likely to take care of it that day and not put the fix off...

What an amazingly GREAT time we had! Amber was so gracious to test her patience and drive the long distance, Carrie K. so awesome for getting us into the Hyatt for free and then making sure they took care of us, Heather coached us through making the t-shirts, "womaned" the radio and entertained us with truth or dare on the exhausting drive home, Karen-thanks for not kicking me or snoring - what a good bed buddy, Carrie and belly - what fun to share your joyful laughs! God you are so good!
