I Wonder...

Do Christmas carols from those who celebrate Christmas in the southern hemisphere exist? Have I just not heard them because we live in the Northern Hemisphere? If they DO exist, what do they highlight as the warm Christmas experiences that are the polar opposite (sorry, I couldn't resist) of our sleigh rides, cocoa, snowman, and North Pole imagery? Hmmmm... We northerners can't really hold the world's only song writer's of Christmas carols... There's gotta be a southern version of Bing, Nat, Sinatra etc. right?

I'm going to ask my bloggy friend in Australia...
I know this is an older post but I couldn't resist. I talked to a guy just a few months ago that was from Australia (works with Stephen) and he says they sing the same songs as we do and he never really thought about the fact that they were all about snow. I guess it's just a tradition there as well regardless of the fact that they are in the middle of summer during Christmas! I thought it was funny and had to share!
